The author, who spent about 10 years in Yamagata after going to university and discovered sashiko, has proposed about 30 items, including small items made using sashiko as a handiwork rooted in daily life, as well as mending and remaking works. In addition to introducing three types of sashiko techniques and mending methods in detail with process photos, the author will also publish some of the sashiko sample books he has created so far as a collection of designs.
