Estonia is said to be a treasure trove of crafts.
We will introduce how to make animal knits (knitted animals and puppets) made by Anu Raud and Anu Koturi, who are active in Estonia.

There are 32 types of animals in total, including sheep, rabbits, wolves, bears, foxes, pigs, cats, dogs, etc.
The bodies of the animals have traditional Estonian woven patterns.

Kotomi Hayashi, who is supervising this book, personally traveled to Estonia, where the two Anu live, and asked them to tell us about the appeal and thoughts of each work, as well as advice on making them.

We also post photos of the puppets and knitted animals, each showing how they are completed, as well as actual knitting patterns of traditional patterns.
