A book on coats for everyday use by TOWN, which has a reputation for creating patterns that are both comfortable to wear and easy to make. Introducing 5 types of coats + 1 type of versatile liner that stand out because of their beautiful silhouettes. Offered in winter and spring/autumn materials. The pattern sizes are 1 for sizes 7 and 9 and 2 sizes for sizes 11 and 13 (some are one size).
[Coat types] Tailored collar coat, no collar coat, trench coat, mod coat, poncho, liner

1. Ageless and unisex (I want my daughter and son to wear this too. It's the best.)
2. Don't deviate too far from commercial specifications → (However, it is said that full-scale specifications are also available for home sewing!)

is. All of the designs are sophisticated and easy to wear, but they don't have the unrefined patterns of handmade clothes, so you wouldn't think they were handmade when you put them on. The design is modern and timeless...it has a classy, classic feel, and a sense of luxury, which I really like. It doesn't match any dressmaking book. Personally, I was most excited about the mod and trench (in the book, it was paired with a linen jumpsuit, which made me sigh), but I want to make them all. Honestly, I don't think there's ever been a book that made me want to write all of them. I usually buy a book at a bookstore after looking at the contents to express my gratitude, but the image alone was enough for me to buy it. The reason for this is that the second factor is overwhelming. I don't want to wear clothes that are handmade and made by hand. Of course, agelessness is also an important factor.

The book is a fashion magazine itself.

◎The pattern is compatible with sizes 156 to 166 (I'm happy because I have a tall family)
◎The pattern includes seam allowance! (This is really helpful as it saves time.)
◎The sizes are 1 (7-9) and 2 (11-13), so the lines are not crowded. Isn't it easy to photograph?
◎The liner is so stylish T^T

The over silhouette allows for a wide range of clothing to be worn inside. Sweaters, sweatshirts, even ones with voluminous sleeves. I wanted something like this that I could wear over my everyday clothes! I usually have small children with me and I'm conscious of moving around, so I usually wear sneakers. Clothing that doesn't feel constricting or sloppy, and that you can easily move in, is essential.

Even when a model wears a handmade book's clothes, there is a sense of regret, for example, unnatural wrinkles, square shapes with frills added on, and simple things like pants that don't sell like this (>人<;) There were so many. There are some pattern shops that sell patterns for around 2,000 yen per piece, but they tend to look old-fashioned and surprisingly don't have the designs you like...If you look at magazines, I wonder if there are any ones that look like Fudge, Cruel, or Gisele. ,, that's what I always thought. Cute, cool, and ageless. Looks comfortable too! I really appreciate pattern books like this.

I'm worried about the buttonholes. Isn't it difficult to use thick fabrics depending on the specifications of the sewing machine? Is it faster if you get used to sewing by hand? I'm doing some research.
