My first time kogin embroidery beginning - Japanese Craft Book*

¥2,100

Release date: 2020/6/18
Language: Japanese
Paperback (soft cover): 96 pages

A collection of Kogin embroidery patterns.
Introduces arrangements of traditional patterns.
Stitch alone to accentuate, change the arrangement to stitch continuously, or make it reversible.
Just by changing the combination of fabric and thread,
you can enjoy one pattern in many ways.

This book is divided into a basic and advanced version.
The basic version explains the origins of Kogin embroidery and the rules of basic (traditional) patterns in an easy-to-understand way.
By understanding the basic rules,
it will be easier to arrange patterns, such as how to combine them and how to make them continuous.
Of course, materials and sewing techniques are also explained in detail with photos.

The advanced version introduces various designs by three artists.
Even those who have enjoyed Kogin embroidery in the past may feel a sense of expansion.
I also introduce some of my works, such as coasters and brooches, which I have added some tailoring to.
