There are about 10 types of easy ways to make knots. The knots are introduced with photos on one page, or on a double page spread, the left page is "knots" and the right page is "related plants, etc." There are 40 types introduced. There are about 15 pages of photos explaining how they are used in festivals in Kyoto (mostly photos).

I don't make complicated works, so simple ones are fine, but I would have liked to see more "easy works" rather than festival photos.

95 pages in color, followed by instructions on how to make them. As you can expect from the cover, the photos and composition are beautiful, and I thought it was typical of Tankosha. I gave it 4 stars because it was for handicrafts. If it were a specialized book, it would be more of an overview book, as there are few explanations of materials and the history of knots, and there are few references.
