[About the author]
anudo Takeshi Kamata/
While traveling around South America for about three years, he encountered macrame.
He draws inspiration from local natural formations and ethnic costumes, and creates his own unique techniques and designs.
"Anudo" is a Spanish word that means "I tie." This word is used not only for things such as strings, but also for friendly relationships with people.
As he traveled, he created various items by tying string together to make coin purses and other necessary items.
He still travels to mines in South America and India several times a year to mine and purchase natural stones himself.
He uses polished natural stones and the fruits and seeds of plants native to the Amazon in South America as motifs for his macrame.

[Comment from the editorial department]
anudo's works are inspired by the great nature of South America and the ethnic costumes of each country, and are shaped into knots.
The design is excellent and the color combinations are exquisite. From among them, we have selected works that are fun and can be made even for the first time.
Ideal for those who want to make something handmade in a short amount of time! We have also created a chart of 15 anudo patterns that will give you hints for color combinations.
