Plant dyer. Representative of "Maito Design Works". He gained experience with vegetable dyeing at his family's vegetable dyeing studio, Kobo Yumezaiku (Akizuki, Fukuoka), and majored in dyeing and weaving at the Department of Crafts, Faculty of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts. In 2009, he started his own original brand "MAITO". In 2010, she established the plant dyeing factory brand "Maito Design Works" in Ueno, Tokyo. Currently, she has a workshop shop in her warehouse, where she researches vegetable dyeing, collaborates with various manufacturers and brands, produces and directs original products, and holds vegetable dyeing workshops, and spreads Japanese traditional culture through vegetable dyeing.
