Popular Kyoto brand SOU・SOU celebrates its 20th anniversary!
728 original patterns commercialized to date are now available in one book.
All 728 SOU・SOU textile designs are featured in one volume!

SOU・SOU is a Kyoto-based textile brand. Their pop and cute, distinctively Japanese patterns, created with a commitment to Made in Japan, have garnered passionate fans both in Japan and overseas. To commemorate the brand's 20th anniversary, this book compiles 728 original designs created up to 2022. All designs are by Katsuji Wakisaka, Marimekko's first Japanese designer. The book is packed with inspiration for your own creations.

A must-read for creators! This in-depth book explores their commitment to craftsmanship.

The book also features clothing patterns based on traditional Japanese clothing, collaborative products with domestic and international companies and organizations, and costumes from films such as "Kingdom." The book also includes interviews with Producer Wakabayashi and other creators involved with SOU・SOU. When the company was founded in 2003, tabi socks were merely work shoes, but their creativity in developing them into apparel led to the birth of tabi-style shoes, which have now become a fashionable item in the fashion world. This book is both fun and full of creativity, and gives an insight into the manufacturing process at SOU・SOU.
